Triple Stars Strategies

Maximizing Your Combos in Triple Stars

Look for Multiple Paths

This is the situation where there are 2 or more cards to play with what you have. Given this option, whenever it is, a carefully made decision can boost your score.

  • Try to always select the path that will give you a run of as many cards as possible. This is of course because the more cards you play without drawing, the better your score, in every way.
  • If both paths result in the same amount of cards: choose the path that uncovers the most face-down cards. This gives you a much better chance that of uncovering a card that will keep your combo going.
  • If both paths play the same amount of visible cards, and uncover the same amount of new cards: go for the card in the lowest row.
  • If both paths play the same amount of visible cards, uncover the same amount of new cards, and are on the same level: play the number with the greater total number of that card.
  • If both paths play the same amount of visible cards, uncover the same amount of new cards, and are on the same level, and have the same total number of that card: play the card that is closest to another card.

Wild Cards

Wild Cards are a very important part of Triple Stars, using them in the most efficient way can ensure maximum points earned. Wild Card usage if very subjective. Sometimes it is more beneficial to use the wild card for the points you will receive from a run, however sometimes you will receive more points from holding on to the wild card. If you will only be able to achieve a run of four cards for instance, and your score will approximately be only 900 points, then the 5,000 points from keeping the wild card until the end would be more helpful to your score at the end. If you can use the wild card strategically to achieve a run that will give you more than 5,000 points, then in essence it is a wiser idea to use your wild card at that time.
