• Focus on removing the tiles from long row and tall stacks first.
• Always keep in mind that there are four of each tile. Always attempt to remove the tiles you can visibly see will not trap the other match during the game.
• If you can remove all four matching tiles in a set, remove those first to clear the clutter from the field.
• If you can only see three tiles of a set, choose carefully which pair to remove as to not block the fourth tile.
• Try to imagine several steps ahead during the game. This can keep you from blocking tiles in and making it impossible to clear the field.
• React quickly. The faster you remove the matching sets of tiles and the higher total amount of sets you remove result in a higher final score.

Using your visual memory can help your speed and subsequently your score in the game. If you train your mind to quickly scan the tiles and take a mental catalog of where the open tiles are and what symbols they are, you can more quickly remove the matching pairs. Different people find that certain tiles are more easily remembered than others.
